lyrics
I'm a bull, I'm a bull in a china shop
And every time I knock it down, they build it back up
I'm a bull, I'm a bull in a china shop
I'm just waiting, just waiting for a Culture Shock
When most of these people don't know their slaves
How can you expect them to go and break their chains?
An honest days work for an honest days pay
But the cost of honesty rises with the talk of free trade
They took the shackles off our necks and attached them to our feet
Trying to present the illusions that we're free
Try to keep my head above the water but I'm in too deep
Now my working rights have become obsolete
I'm a bull, I'm a bull in a china shop
And every time I knock it down, they build it back up
I'm a bull, I'm a bull in a china shop
I'm just waiting, just waiting for a Culture Shock
Until we realise, then its never gunna change
We may choose our masters but we're still the slaves
The story stays the same we're just on a different page
Its catch 22 for the minimum wage
And all this time I've got this building rage
I'm a bull, I'm a bull in a china shop
And every time I knock it down, they build it back up
I'm a bull, I'm a bull in a china shop
I'm just waiting, just waiting for a Culture Shock
So I ask myself is it all worthwhile?
The only ones who gain sit at the top of the pile
And I know that they won't leave me be
But if I'm going down then I'm taking you with me!
I'm a bull, I'm a bull in a china shop
And every time I knock it down, they build it back up
I'm a bull, I'm a bull in a china shop
I'm just waiting, just waiting for a Culture Shock

YEEEES!
YEEEES!
Twenty years later than I would have liked, but hells yes! I stumbled upon "No manners in Ireland" yesterday, cueing the easiest binge buy in a while. This is a nice blend of skillful instrumentalism, great lead voice and good tunes. The old Toasters / Madness / Bosstones fan in me is bouncing off the ceiling again. Thank you for that. You seem to be gathering steam as well. Here's to a long run! raphaelhythlodai
Dead Cross, Retox, and Qui members dish out subversive hardcore with an indignant smirk; come for the riffs, stay for the synth experiments. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 31, 2024
